Court Documents Now Accessible Online
New Feature Allows Users to Search and Retrieve Records Electronically
Buchanan County, IA - Residents of Buchanan County can now access court documents online through the Iowa Courts Online Electronic Docket Record Search.
This new feature allows users to search and retrieve court records from 13 official databases, including the District Court, Magistrate Court, and Small Claims Court. Previously, residents had to visit the courthouse in person to obtain copies of these documents.
"We are pleased to offer this new service to the residents of Buchanan County," said County Clerk Terri A. Johnson. "It will save them time and money by allowing them to access court records from the convenience of their own homes or offices."
To use the Iowa Courts Online Electronic Docket Record Search, users must first create an account. Once an account has been created, users can search for court records by case number, party name, or attorney name. Documents can be viewed online or downloaded and printed.
